Alison Rosser is Head of the Species Programme which works closely in support of species –related conventions, such as CITES, CMS and AEWA. She has some twenty years experience working at the science policy interface on wildlife trade and sustainability issues along with training and capacity building experience. Before joining UNEP-WCMC she worked for the University of Kent’s Durrell Institute, the IUCN Species Programme, the TRAFFIC East- Southern Africa Tanzania Office and studied antelope ecology in Zambia. She is interested in the human aspects of biodiversity conservation.
