Instructions for using the Breeding Distribution map page
When you have selected the map window (below) you will be presented with a map
of the Arctic:
- click the
'zoom in' option above the map and select an area of interest
- to investigate individual locations:
select the 'identify' option for a list of species
now click
on a specific area
You
will have a tabulated list of species breeding at the location you have chosen.
Some species information on high breeding density is available, currrently for
40 species of mainly geese and sandpipers.
To save the table, click File, Save As in the browser window and
save as an html file. This can then be opened in Microsoft Excel.
