Climate Change and Biodiversity
Barney has been leading the Climate Change and Biodiversity Programme for four years and during that time it has has grown considerably. The programme provides substantive support to the UN-REDD Programme, as well as undertaking work on ecosystem-based adaptation and the impacts of climate change on biodiversity. Before joining UNEP-WCMC Barney worked for fifteen years on international conservation policy in Zimbabwe and the UK. He no longer teaches philosophy.
