Meet our staff
Bjorn Schulte-Herbruggen
Björn provides technical support on performance and impact indicators to the UNCCD secretariat. A human ecologist with research experience in natural and social sciences, Björn spent four years in rural Peru and Ghana working on wildlife management in timber production forests, household socio-economics and livelihoods analysis among cash-crop farmers, forest certification and eco-tourism. He holds a PhD in Anthropology and MRes in Ecology and Environmental Management. Out of work, Bjorn’s spare time is mostly taken up with caring for his newborn son.
