DETR website Working in collaboration with the CBD National Focal Point, the UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre developed a matrix for assessment of national implementation of the Convention, based on the obligations identified in the Convention Articles and the COP Decisions. This matrix was used as a basis for review of implementation with stakeholders, carried out in 1999.
