Implementation Measures Pilot Project |

This webpage was established
to support and report on the CBD Implementation Measures Pilot Project
launched at the fourth meeting of SBSTTA (Montreal, 21-25 June 1999).
The project was completed at the fifth meeting of the Conference of the
Parties (Nairobi, 15-16 May 2000) with the adoption of revised guidelines
for national reporting based on the results of the project (Decision
V/19). The project: The pilot project
was carried out by the UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre, working
in close collaboration with the CBD Secretariat and eight Contracting
Parties (Canada, Ecuador, Indonesia, Malawi, Norway, Seychelles, Slovenia
and the United Kingdom). Significant additional input was provided
by New Zealand. Project documents: The following project
