Meet our staff
Chris Sandbrook
Chris helps to organise and teach the Masters in Conservation Leadership course that is delivered by the University of Cambridge and various partner organisations in the Cambridge Conservation Initiative. He also carries out research, focusing on the relationship between conservation and local livelihoods in the developing world. Before joining UNEP-WCMC Chris held a number of research and consultancy positions with the University of Cambridge and the International Institute for Environment and Development, and lived in Uganda for over three years. Away from work Chris is a keen Ultimate Frisbee player.
