Dwarf Gymnure Hylomys parvus Robinson and Kloss, 1916 This little-known insectivorous species is restricted to the moss forest covering the peak of Mt Kerinci, Sumatra, Indonesia (IUCN, 1995). The Dwarf Gymnure is believed to be 'Critically Endangered' by a continuing loss of habitat (IUCN, 1995).
