Meet our staff
Liz Farmer
Working in the Science Unit, Liz provides a focal point for spatial data analysis in the context of biodiversity and ecosystem service mapping. Before joining WCMC Liz was a post-doctoral research fellow at RMIT University, Melbourne (Australia). Liz has investigated the utility of remote sensing and geospatial technologies within the mapping and monitoring of natural resources. This work focused on the influence of scale, semantics and data uncertainty upon the provision of appropriate and validated data to support natural resource management and biodiversity conservation policy.
