Public access to GMAD:

  • Via a downloadable MS Access version of GMAD (download here 3.6Mb zip file)
(You can download a copy of winzip 8.1 here 1.8Mb)

This version of GMAD is designed for regular and detailed queries of the database. It can only be queried using MS Access and so requires the user to have this software, though a windows interface removes the need to for any operational expertise. If the user has operational expertise in MS Access, then custom queries can be constructed. You can install GMAD on your own PC using MS Access 97 (which can be linked to FishBase 99) available from ICLARM (www.FishBase.org).
