Column titles

Unfortunately for a variety of technical reasons it is not possible to arrange the column headings in a more sensible manner.

Fieldname Explanation
MORTALITY mortality, as a percentage of colonies to have died from the disease
COUNTRY country where the observation was made (completed for all records)
DISEASE_IN disease incidence, as a percentage of colonies affected
LON decimal degrees of longitude
NEAREST_TO name of the nearest town (this field was not completed if coordinates or reef name were provided by the authors)
REEF_NAME name of the reef where the observation was made (this field was not completed if coordinates were provided by the authors)
LAT decimal degrees of latitude
REFERENCE the principal author and date of the paper
Z_DEAD_COL mortality, as the number of dead colonies per square metre
SPECIES_GE the coral species affected
DISEASE the name of the disease as given by the authors
DISEASE_CO any special comments of this observation
Z_DISEASED disease incidence, as the number of affected colonies per square metre
DATE the year the observation was made
