Column titles
Unfortunately for a variety of technical reasons it is not possible to arrange the column headings in a more sensible manner.
| Fieldname | Explanation |
|---|---|
| MORTALITY | mortality, as a percentage of colonies to have died from the disease |
| COUNTRY | country where the observation was made (completed for all records) |
| DISEASE_IN | disease incidence, as a percentage of colonies affected |
| LON | decimal degrees of longitude |
| NEAREST_TO | name of the nearest town (this field was not completed if coordinates or reef name were provided by the authors) |
| REEF_NAME | name of the reef where the observation was made (this field was not completed if coordinates were provided by the authors) |
| LAT | decimal degrees of latitude |
| REFERENCE | the principal author and date of the paper |
| Z_DEAD_COL | mortality, as the number of dead colonies per square metre |
| SPECIES_GE | the coral species affected |
| DISEASE | the name of the disease as given by the authors |
| DISEASE_CO | any special comments of this observation |
| Z_DISEASED | disease incidence, as the number of affected colonies per square metre |
| DATE | the year the observation was made |
