As a pre-meeting to the Pan-African Business and Biodiversity Forum, UNEP-WCMC is convening a one-day workshop to bring together key decision makers and experts within the oil and gas and mining sectors within Africa. The aim of this workshop is to share lessons and generate a shared understanding of what constitutes good governance for the effective mitigation of biodiversity impacts. This will take place on 8 October 2015 in Akosombo, Ghana.
