Philip’s work centre’s on developing capacity for countries to produce and use biodiversity indicators and to include management for ecosystem services in their strategies. He is skilled in designing and running projects and workshops involving multiple partners and countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Before joining UNEP-WCMC in 2002 Philip led community-based forest conservation work in southern Mexico, and he has a degree in Ecology and a Masters in Resource Management. Away from work he enjoys birdwatching.
