Beccy works on various aspects of the relationship between biodiversity and climate change. In particular she has been working on how interventions to mitigate and adapt to climate change can be implemented in ways that can minimise the harm, and enhance the benefits, to biodiversity and ecosystem services. Before joining the Centre in 2012, she worked for the Centre for Evidence Based Conservations in Bangor, following having completed her PhD in aquatic ecology at Cambridge University.
