Meet our staff
Siobhan Kenney
Siobhan’s main focus is the joint management of the content of the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA), working with partners around the world to obtain the most up to date information on protected areas. Siobhan also works on a range of protected area projects, for example expert reviews of protected areas information, assessing progress towards international targets and undertaking GIS analyses.
Siobhan previously worked for the Species Programme at UNEP-WCMC, and prior to that undertook a BSc in Natural Sciences. When she has free time, Siobhan enjoys horse riding out in the countryside.
