As a web developer, Andrew works on existing projects and also develops new solutions with the Informatics programme. This involves problem solving as well as thinking creatively to develop the end product.
Andrew has a degree in Physics from the University of London, Royal Holloway. He enjoys working on cutting edge platforms which help to visualise and make data accessible. He previously worked in the City of London as a web developer, then went into the field of education gaining experience in two schools in Hampshire, to learn and develop software solutions for teachers.
Andrew has worked on extending the API for Protected Planet as well as adding dynamic statistics to the website, amongst other improvements to the application.
Andrew has worked on various parts of the Future of Conservation website including the data export functionality and amending the questions.
