Félix works on reviewing, updating and improving the Conservation Planning Database, while assessing the feasibility of representing the database spatially and consequentially how this could be linked to the World Database on Protected Areas and vice versa. For this he conducts spatial collaborates with researchers at the John Cook University and Imperial College London.
Félix previously gathered science and policy research experience as Environmental Affairs Intern at both the Secretariats of the Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal and the Convention on Migratory Species in Bonn, as well as during a cetacean research internship in Quebec. He currently facilitates Generation Climate Europe’s Biodiversity Working Group and is the treasurer of marine research and awareness NGO in Luxembourg. Félix holds an MSc in Conservation from University College London and a BSc in Marine Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
