Lizzie’s role as HR Officer involves working with closely with employees in all areas of HR for UNEP-WCMC. In particular she manages the internship programme and training and development programme. She also covers a wide range of HR activities including inductions, recruitment, benefits and wellbeing, and employee relations.
Lizzie started her career in fundraising after graduating with a Bachelor of Communication Studies. She worked with major donors, trusts and foundations and schools for four different charities in the UK and New Zealand. When she joined UNEP-WCMC in 2014, she moved into the HR sector and is enjoying supporting our employees to make the Centre a great place to work.
