Stacey has over seven years of experience in working with businesses to support sustainability efforts through science and engagement programmes. During her time at Earthwatch Europe, she supported the development of a sustainable agriculture strategy, looking at how citizen science and engagement methods could be used to support agri-businesses and farmers. Alongside this, she managed several capacity-building programmes designed to support the private and conservation sectors to take action towards a sustainable environment. She gained a Masters degree in International Corporate Law from the University of Nottingham in 2011 and thereafter spent two years working in the insurance sector.
