We work with countries to support the assessment of knowledge on biodiversity and ecosystem services and their contributions to society and human well-being for informed policymaking.  

We work in partnership with national governments, their agencies and international organisations to strengthen technical capacities for conducting national ecosystem assessments and engaging with stakeholder to harness a range of knowledge sources.  

Our approach leverages knowledge-sharing and networking across levels and sectors. We help to strengthen countries engagement with intergovernmental processes and support the national level implementation of multilateral environmental agreements.
