The latest issue of the Protected Areas Resilient to Climate Change in West Africa (PARCC) Project is available now in both English and French.
This issue summarizes the results of a review of options for managing and financing protected areas to adapt to climate change. It also provides information about the sites that have been selected by the project for transboundary activities implementation.
The PARCC West Africa Project is assessing the resilience of protected areas to climate change in the West Africa region. The main objectives of this project are: the development of new science-based tools to assess the vulnerability of protected areas to climate change; the design of adaptation strategies to strengthen their resilience; and capacity building for using these tools and strategies.
