Programme Administrator (AD955C)

Directorate | Fixed term, full-time, Associate Officer

£18,000 to £25,000 depending on skills and experience

Join us at an exciting time of growth and change, in a crucial role within our organisation, as a Programme Administrator on a 6 month Fixed Term contract. We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious Administrator to work flexibly for the Directorate Programme within the Centre. You will be responsible for providing extensive administrative support to the Management Information Officer and assist with the implementation of a wide range of projects.  A truly fantastic opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills within business administration, helping to improve the profile of our work. You will be part of a new team of Administrators forming a central administration hub, with functional guidance from our Management Information Officer, to maintain effective administration processes and cross-programmatic consistency.

As a Programme Administrator, you will use your excellent organisational and administrative skills to compile management information reports, keep to invoices and expenditure reports’ schedules, and maintain and update the centre’s project management and Finance system, Deltek. You will also support in updating our processes, especially around our latest database upgrade but also the quality management and timesheet process. In addition, the role involves supporting with resource planning through Deltek plans updates, coordinating the projects closedown surveys, responding to requests for information both internally and externally, alongside maintaining computer and paper filing systems.

You will be computer literate, flexible in approach and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and requests. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative to make improvements. You will demonstrate a professional approach and be capable of developing an excellent understanding of the centres policies and procedures.  Experience in business administration, finance, process and database transition, coordinating multiple stakeholders; working internationally; and fluency in another UN language would be an advantage.
